France e-invoicing and e-reporting integration

France's e-invoicing reform is live. Every business must now be able to receive structured e-invoices, and large and mid-size companies must issue them and report transaction data through an approved platform. We connect your software to an approved platform and the required formats so you meet both obligations.

Reform live since
1 Sep 2026

Since 1 September 2026, all businesses must be able to receive structured e-invoices, and large and mid-size companies must issue them and e-report. Small and micro businesses must issue from 1 September 2027.

  • Receive structured e-invoices
  • Issue via an approved platform
  • Factur-X / UBL / CII formats
  • E-reporting of transaction data

What is French e-invoicing reform (Facture electronique) in France?

France's reform replaces PDF and paper invoices for domestic B2B with structured electronic invoices, and adds e-reporting of transaction and payment data to the tax administration. Invoices flow through approved platforms (the role formerly called PDP) rather than a single government portal, and France is now a large Peppol market.

The obligations split in two. From 1 September 2026, every business in scope must be able to receive structured e-invoices, and large and mid-size businesses must issue them and e-report. Small and micro businesses must start issuing from 1 September 2027. France has signalled a soft-landing on penalties into the end of 2026, but the receiving obligation is already in force.

Accepted formats include Factur-X (a hybrid PDF plus XML), UBL, and CII. We map your invoice data to the right format and connect you to an approved platform.

Dates and thresholds change, and scope depends on your exact situation. Treat this page as a starting point, confirm the detail with the Direction generale des Finances publiques (DGFiP), and tell us what you run today, we will tell you plainly what an integration would involve.

How we help

Built into the software you already run.

We connect your ERP, accounting, or billing software to an approved platform and the Factur-X, UBL, or CII formats, so you can receive today and issue and e-report on your schedule. If your system cannot be adapted, we build one that can.

The receiving obligation is already in force for everyone, so even if you do not issue yet, your software needs to accept structured invoices now.
