India GST e-invoicing integration (IRP)

India's GST e-invoicing requires businesses above the turnover threshold to register every B2B invoice on an Invoice Registration Portal, which returns an IRN and a signed QR code. We integrate your billing, POS, or ERP with the IRP so invoices are registered automatically and flow into GSTR-1 and e-way bills.

Threshold
AATO > Rs 5 crore

GST e-invoicing is mandatory for businesses with aggregate annual turnover above Rs 5 crore. Businesses with AATO of Rs 10 crore or more also face a 30-day limit for reporting invoices on the IRP.

  • IRP registration & IRN
  • Signed QR code on invoices
  • GSTR-1 auto-population
  • E-way bill integration

What is GST e-invoicing (IRP / e-invoice) in India?

India's GST e-invoicing is a registration model. Businesses above the turnover threshold must report every B2B invoice (and credit and debit note) to an Invoice Registration Portal (IRP) in the prescribed JSON schema. The IRP validates it, returns an Invoice Reference Number (IRN) and a digitally signed QR code, and only then is the invoice valid for GST purposes.

The threshold has stepped down over time and now covers businesses with aggregate annual turnover above Rs 5 crore. Businesses with AATO of Rs 10 crore or more also face a 30-day reporting limit: invoices older than 30 days are rejected by the IRP. Once registered, invoice data auto-populates into GSTR-1 and feeds the e-way bill system.

We integrate your software with the IRP so registration is automatic, the IRN and QR code land on the invoice, and your returns and e-way bills line up without double entry.

What we deliver

A complete India integration.

Whether you run an off-the-shelf ERP, a cloud accounting app, or a POS you built in-house, we make it comply with GST e-invoicing (IRP / e-invoice), end to end.

IRP integration

We connect your software to the Invoice Registration Portal, directly or through a GSP, for automatic IRN generation.

JSON schema mapping

We map your invoice data to the prescribed e-invoice schema so the IRP accepts it first time.

IRN & signed QR

Each invoice gets its IRN and signed QR code, printed on the document.

GSTR-1 auto-population

Registered invoice data flows into GSTR-1 so your returns reconcile with what you issued.

E-way bill integration

We connect e-invoicing with the e-way bill system so goods movement documents are generated together.

30-day limit handling

We enforce timely reporting so invoices are not rejected for breaching the 30-day limit.

Dates and thresholds change, and scope depends on your exact situation. Treat this page as a starting point, confirm the detail with the GST Network (GSTN) and CBIC, and tell us what you run today, we will tell you plainly what an integration would involve.

How we help

Built into the software you already run.

We integrate GST e-invoicing into your existing billing, POS, or ERP: IRP registration, IRN and QR code, GSTR-1 auto-population, and e-way bill generation, directly or through a GST Suvidha Provider. If your system cannot be adapted, we build one that can.

For Indian businesses this is also an efficiency win: once e-invoicing, returns, and e-way bills are wired together, your team stops re-keying the same invoice into three systems.
