What is InvoiceNow (Peppol) GST reporting in Singapore?
InvoiceNow is Singapore's nationwide e-invoicing network, built on Peppol and overseen by IMDA. On top of invoice exchange, IRAS has introduced GST InvoiceNow reporting, where GST-registered businesses transmit invoice data to IRAS through the network as part of their GST compliance.
The rollout is staged. Voluntary adoption opened in 2025. Newly incorporated companies that register for GST voluntarily have had to transmit data through InvoiceNow since 1 November 2025, and all new voluntary registrants from 1 April 2026. IRAS has said all GST-registered businesses will eventually be required to use InvoiceNow, with existing registrants phased in from 2028 to 2031 and individual implementation dates notified from mid-2026.
Because it is Peppol-based, the same connection lets you send and receive structured invoices with partners across the Peppol network, not just report to IRAS.

Singapore e-invoicing questions.
Is InvoiceNow mandatory in Singapore?
GST InvoiceNow reporting is phasing in. It began with newly incorporated companies registering for GST voluntarily (from 1 November 2025) and all new voluntary registrants (from 1 April 2026). Existing registrants are scheduled from 2028 to 2031. Confirm with IRAS.
What is the difference between InvoiceNow and GST InvoiceNow reporting?
InvoiceNow is the Peppol-based network for exchanging e-invoices. GST InvoiceNow reporting is the IRAS requirement to transmit invoice data to the tax authority through that network. We set up both.
Does InvoiceNow use Peppol?
Yes. InvoiceNow is built on Peppol, so the same connection lets you send and receive structured invoices with partners across the Peppol network, not just report to IRAS.
Can you integrate InvoiceNow with my software?
Yes. We connect your existing ERP or billing software to an InvoiceNow Access Point and set up GST reporting, and we also build compliant systems.
