UAE e-invoicing software and ASP integration

The UAE is moving to mandatory e-invoicing on a Peppol-based model, where accredited service providers exchange structured invoices and the Federal Tax Authority receives the tax data. We connect your billing, POS, or ERP system to an accredited provider and the PINT-AE format so you are ready before go-live, not scrambling after it.

What is FTA e-invoicing (Peppol PINT-AE) in United Arab Emirates?

UAE e-invoicing is the Federal Tax Authority's shift from PDF and paper invoices to structured electronic invoices exchanged over the Peppol network. It uses a five-corner model: your system sends an invoice through an accredited service provider (ASP), the provider validates and routes it to your customer's provider, and a copy of the tax data is reported to the FTA.

The required format is PINT-AE, the UAE's Peppol-based invoice specification. Appointing an accredited service provider is the gateway requirement: large businesses (AED 50 million or more in annual revenue) had to appoint one by 30 October 2026, with mandatory issuance from 1 January 2027. Businesses below that threshold and government entities are phased in through 2027.

This is not a format you bolt on at the last minute. Your invoice data has to map cleanly to PINT-AE fields, your ASP connection has to be live and tested, and your VAT logic has to produce what the FTA expects. We handle that end to end.

What we deliver

A complete United Arab Emirates integration.

Whether you run an off-the-shelf ERP, a cloud accounting app, or a POS you built in-house, we make it comply with FTA e-invoicing (Peppol PINT-AE), end to end.

Accredited service provider onboarding

We connect your software to an FTA-accredited service provider, handle registration, and test the live exchange before your deadline.

PINT-AE field mapping

We map your existing invoice data model to the PINT-AE (Peppol) specification so every mandatory field is populated correctly.

Peppol exchange integration

Your invoices flow out through the Peppol Access Point and your customers' invoices flow in, in the structured format the FTA requires.

VAT and tax data reporting

VAT is calculated, formatted, and reported to the FTA exactly as the five-corner model expects, so filings reconcile with what you sent.

ERP, POS and billing integration

We wire the mandate into the system you already run rather than making your team switch software or re-key invoices.

Validation and error handling

Rejected or malformed invoices are caught, logged, and retried, with alerting so nothing fails silently against the deadline.

Timeline

The United Arab Emirates compliance timeline.

Starting before enforcement means a calm cutover. Waiting means doing it under pressure.

VAT-registered businesses

Any UAE business issuing B2B or B2G invoices in scope of the mandate, starting with the AED 50 million revenue tier and expanding to smaller businesses.

ERP and accounting software users

Businesses running SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Zoho, Tally, or a custom system that now has to emit PINT-AE invoices through an accredited provider.

POS and retail operators

Retail, hospitality, and service businesses whose point-of-sale needs to produce compliant structured invoices without slowing the counter.

Dates and thresholds change, and scope depends on your exact situation. Treat this page as a starting point, confirm the detail with the UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) and Ministry of Finance, and tell us what you run today, we will tell you plainly what an integration would involve.

How we help

Built into the software you already run.

Whether you run an off-the-shelf ERP, a cloud accounting app, or a system your team built, we make it speak PINT-AE and connect it to an accredited service provider. If you would rather replace an ageing billing system, we build a new one with UAE e-invoicing compliant from day one.

You keep your current workflow. Compliance becomes something your software does automatically, not a monthly scramble your finance team manages by hand.

FAQ

United Arab Emirates e-invoicing questions.

When does UAE e-invoicing become mandatory?

Businesses with AED 50 million or more in annual revenue had to appoint an accredited service provider by 30 October 2026, with mandatory e-invoicing from 1 January 2027. Businesses below that threshold and government entities are phased in through 2027. Confirm the current dates and your tier with the Federal Tax Authority before you plan around them.

What is an accredited service provider (ASP)?

The UAE model routes invoices through accredited service providers on the Peppol network. Appointing an accredited provider is the gateway requirement. We connect your software to a fully accredited provider and run the integration end to end.

What format do UAE e-invoices use?

The UAE uses PINT-AE, its Peppol-based structured invoice specification, in a five-corner model where the FTA receives the tax data. We map your existing invoice fields to PINT-AE so you do not have to learn the specification.

Can you integrate this with my existing ERP or POS?

Yes. We integrate UAE e-invoicing into your existing ERP, accounting, POS, or billing software, and we also build new systems with it compliant from the start. Either way you keep your workflow and stay compliant.
